MHIMO. Motril´s Museum of History

The newly opened MHIMO (Museo de Historia de Motril), is located at Casa Garces in the heart of Motril, near the Town Hall and the Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Church. In it, we will make a tour through the history of the city, from the early settlers of the region until the more recent past. 


Here you will be able to understand the city of Motril and his history. The creation of the town, the muslim period, the age of industries and the XX century are waiting for you.

There is also a small sample of as the rehabilitation of the property was carried out to adapt it to the Museum.
