Las Explanadas promenade

In the heart of the town, close to the Tourist Information Office you will find a promenade called Las Explanadas. This is the main entertainment area of Motril besides the beach during the summer.
In Las Explanadas and small squares around as Avenida de Salobreña or Tranvía Square you can find lot of tapas bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs or clubs to enjoy during the whole day. The area is the most important public space of Motril and that kind of place where you will always find people walking around, drinking something or taking a break.

Here you will find two bus stops. From the one next to the Tourist Office you will be able to reach Torrenueva, Carchuna and Calahonda. From Las Explanadas stop is possible to take a bus to El Puerto, Playa Poniente and Playa Granada.
